SAN FRANCISCO — Super Bowl LX will deliver an expansive pregame celebration on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Airing live on NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, and Universo in the U.S. and in 195 countries around the world, the Super Bowl LX Pregame Ceremony will bring together music, culture and storytelling, as the NFL honors the legacy of the game while setting the stage for its biggest night of the year.

Super Bowl LX Tailgate
Multi-platinum recording artist Teddy Swims will headline the Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert presented by NetApp, the NFL’s ultimate pregame party, livestreamed on Peacock ahead of kickoff on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, from the stadium campus outside Levi’s Stadium. Bay Area native LaRussell will open the tailgate concert and also serve as the in-stadium house band on game day, bringing a distinctive local voice and the curated sound of ‘Hyphy House Band” to Super Bowl LX celebrations.
Super Bowl LX Opening Ceremony
Commencing with NBC’s opening feature celebrating 60 years of Super Bowl memories, the opening ceremony will feature a special on-field performance by East Bay-native, Grammy Award-winning, and Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductees Green Day, whose music has helped define generations of fans. As part of the league’s 60th Super Bowl celebration, Green Day, featuring Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool, will usher Super Bowl MVPs onto the field with a dynamic performance celebrating the legacy and evolution of the championship game.
Super Bowl LX Pregame Entertainment
Following the opening ceremony, the Super Bowl LX pregame performances will take center stage. Multi-award-winning, Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Charlie Puth will perform the National Anthem, 11-time Grammy Award-winning artist Brandi Carlile will deliver “America the Beautiful,” and Grammy Award-winning R&B breakout artist Coco Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
The Super Bowl pregame entertainment will spotlight powerful American Sign Language (ASL) performances. Renowned Deaf music artist Fred Beam will perform the National Anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and Deaf music performer Julian Ortiz will deliver “America the Beautiful.” ASL performers will be introduced on air during broadcast. In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy are conducting a joint Super Bowl LX flyover with an 8-ship aircraft formation. The formation, featuring the Air Force’s B-1 Lancer, Ellsworth AFB, N.D. and F-15C Eagle, Fresno Air National Guard Base, Calif., alongside the Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet and F-35C Lightning II, Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., is a symbol of our nation’s journey and independence. The American flag used in Flag Sojourn 250, a nationwide journey of a single American flag to every state, territory, and overseas military cemetery, will be carried in the cockpit of one of the flyover aircrafts.
Team Introductions and Super Bowl LX Honorary Captains
Just moments before the players from the Super Bowl LX participating teams take the field, New England Patriots fan Jon Bon Jovi will fire up the crowd as he introduces the Patriots, while Seattle Seahawks fan Chris Pratt brings the energy for the Seahawks.
The NFL will continue its celebrations of the United States of America’s 250th birthday throughout the Super Bowl LX pregame. This year’s honorary coin toss captains will represent the past, present and future of our game and our country. Pro Football Hall of Famers and Super Bowl MVPs Lynn Swann, Joe Montana and Peyton Manning will each represent different eras of the Super Bowl and the Super Bowls played during America’s bicentennial in 1976 and the two previous games played in the Bay Area.
Three remarkable young leaders and high school football players from the Bay area will join these Pro Football Hall of Famers and Super Bowl MVPs as honorary captains for Super Bowl LX:
- Dominic, representing SPAAT (Student Program for Academic and Athletic Transitioning), is a high‑achieving senior ranked sixth in his class. As a leader on his high school football team, Dominic sees football as a defining force and a way to honor his family and the city of Oakland, where he gives back through community service and youth camps.
- Sterling, representing Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, shares a long‑standing bond with his Big Brother, Matt, which deepened through mutual health challenges, helping him build confidence and shape goals for his high school football team and in life.
- Yesenia, representing Boys & Girls Clubs of America, is a flag football athlete and Clubhouse leader who helped bring home a championship for her Boys & Girls Club. She has been MVP and team captain for three years and has earned Youth of the Year honors four times across two Clubhouses.
In addition, one of the most iconic medals in American history, the Libertas Americana, will serve as the official coin for the Super Bowl LX coin toss. Originally commissioned by Benjamin Franklin in 1782, the medal celebrates America’s victory in the Revolutionary War. Following the coin toss, the medal will be presented to the National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History as a gift to the nation.
At halftime, global music sensation Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, with ROC Nation serving as Executive Producers. In a historic first, the signed rendition of the Apple Music Halftime Show will feature a multilingual signing program incorporating Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR), led by Deaf Puerto Rican performer Celimar Rivera Cosme and Julian Ortiz.
