Siri AI Expands With Five More Languages

Apple’s Siri AI is expanding to more people around the world, with availability now in the French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish languages.

Siri AI is a completely reimagined version of Siri that is more personal and powerful. Built on Apple Intelligence, it draws on personal context understanding to help users find what they need in the moment across their messages, emails, photos, and more. With even more systemwide app actions, Siri AI can help users with tasks such as drafting an email from scratch or editing and sharing a set of photos. With onscreen awareness, Siri AI can answer questions or take actions related to the content on a user’s screen. It can also use broad world knowledge to get up-to-date information on virtually any topic.

Apple plans to add Chinese (Traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese languages by the end of the year.

Siri AI is available in beta in iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2 and requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled device set to a supported language. It is available in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.

Siri AI is currently unavailable in the European Union (EU) in iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS due to a dispute withe the Digital Markets Act in the EU.
