Serval Raises $150 Million Series C

SAN FRANCISCO — Serval, an enterprise service management and automation platform, has raised a $150 million Series C round led by Sequoia, valuing the company at $3 billion. The round brings Serval’s total funding to $277 million and includes participation from existing investors Elad Gil, Evantic, First Round, General Catalyst, and Redpoint, and new investors Conviction and Headline.

The round is Serval’s third in 12 months, following a $75 million Series B in December 2025 and its Series A announcement in October 2025. Serval will use the new capital to answer what it sees as the defining question for the enterprise in the AI era: what happens when every department can use AI the way software engineers do? AI coding tools have already transformed how engineering teams work, and Serval is bringing that same power to the rest of the company.

Serval is investing heavily in Catalyst, its automation agent, so employees in IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and beyond can automate work, with no engineering background required. It is also launching ProServal, a professional services arm that will place more than 100 Automation Engineers inside the world’s most complex organizations to redesign how those organizations run.

“Serval kills tedious work so people can focus on what matters. Everyone experiences some sort of friction in their day-to-day life that blocks their productivity and drains their joy,” said Alex McLeod, co-founder and CTO of Serval. “Serval gives all employees, beyond just engineers, a powerful code generation tool that allows them to automate their least fulfilling work.”

Serval says it has doubled annual recurring revenue (ARR) each quarter since the Series B round, driven by adoption among some of the largest companies in the world. In the last few months alone, Serval has onboarded two Fortune 20 customers to deploy automations organization-wide. Other customers include Fox Corporation, WPP, Live Nation, and Ramp. Most customers go live within 30 days.

“Serval is winning over major enterprises, becoming their system of record, and taking on their most critical workflows,” said Anas Biad, partner at Sequoia. “Jake, Alex, and the team have earned the trust of some of the world’s most complex organizations, and they’re building the platform those enterprises are running on.”

“Serval makes it easy for teams to automate the everyday work that slows them down. We’ve seen customers start in IT and quickly bring that automation into HR, Finance, and Legal,” said Pat Grady, partner at Sequoia. “It gives people the tools to build better workflows and get time back for more valuable work.”
