Ordergroove Receives Two Awards Recognizing Its Extraordinary Workplace

Ordergroove joins the Best Companies to Work for in New York list for the second year in a row and is awarded a Stevie Award for Great Employers

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ordergroove, the leader in relationship commerce, today announced that it has been named one of the 2020 Best Companies to Work for in New York. It has also been awarded the Gold Stevie® Award for Employer of the Year in the Computer Software category by the fifth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.

Ordergroove was one of 75 companies honored at the 13th annual Best Companies to Work for event, hosted virtually by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) on Aug. 12. This is the second consecutive year that Ordergroove has been recognized as a Best Place to Work. The statewide survey, conducted by NYS-SHRM and Best Companies Group, and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New York, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.

Meanwhile, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be conferred upon the winners during a virtual awards ceremony on Nov. 5.

“Ordergroove’s culture and team are at the heart of everything we do,” said Greg Alvo, CEO, Ordergroove. “We have a committed focus on culture, starting with aligning our business decisions with our four core values and hiring on two factors: cultural fit and competencies. 2019 was a transformative year for Ordergroove, and these awards are a testament to the incredible talent and mindset of our team. We’re honored to be recognized as we continue to take the steps to build a great workplace while keeping our team members healthy and happy during the ongoing pandemic.”

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ordergroove has taken measures to maintain cultural excellence in a socially-distanced world. This has included providing employees with the supplies necessary to set up work from home offices, as well as forming virtual book clubs, cooking classes, workouts and trivia nights. Additionally, Ordergroove has used surveys to consistently collect employee input surrounding satisfaction, stress levels and company-wide initiatives in order to continue its community building efforts during COVID-19 and beyond.
