FREMONT — Royole Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced flexible displays, flexible sensors, and smart devices, has received about $80 million in series Pre-D funding from WARMSUN Holding Group. The company now has a market valuation of approximately $3 billion, making Royole one of the world’s fastest-growing technology start-ups.
The new round of funding will help the company invest more resources into research and development, production, sales, and other fields in order to accelerate its growth. During 2012-2015, Royole has raised about $200 million up to Series-C round of funding.
“Royole is on the go and on the grow,” said Founder and CEO, Dr. Bill Liu. “Our advanced 3D virtual mobile theaters, Royole-X and Royole Moon, that deliver cinematic movie-watching and immersive gaming experiences anywhere, anytime, are proving extremely popular, while our proprietary flexible display and flexible sensor technologies are attracting interest and order requests from around the globe for a variety of uses.
