Apple CEO Tim Cook Unveils Free Sports App

Apple has released a free Sports app that provides scores of your favorite teams. The app is released just in time for the start of the Major League Soccer 2024 season which begins tonight and is available on Apple TV+.

Designed for speed and simplicity, the new Apple Sports app’s personalized experience puts users’ favorite leagues and teams front and center, featuring an easy-to-use interface designed by Apple. Apple Sports is available to download now in the App Store in the U.S., the U.K. and Canada.

The following Matchday 1 games will be available for free on MLS Season Pass:

Saturday, February 24
LAFC vs. Seattle Sounders FC
4:30 p.m. ET
D.C. United vs. New England Revolution
7:30 p.m. ET
Orlando City SC vs. CF Montréal
7:30 p.m. ET

Sunday, February 25
FC Cincinnati vs. Toronto FC
2:30 p.m. ET

Fans in more than 100 countries and regions can sign up for MLS Season Pass on Apple TV to enjoy all of the MLS action throughout the 2024 season. With an MLS Season Pass subscription, fans have access to every MLS game with no blackouts, as well as in-depth coverage and analysis, an array of exclusive content, and more.

MLS Season Pass is available on the Apple TV app for $14.99 (U.S.) per month during the season or $99 (U.S.) per season, and Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up at a special price of $12.99 (U.S.) per month or $79 (U.S.) per season. A subscription to MLS Season Pass will be included with each full-season ticket account. Through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share the subscription using their own Apple ID and password.

MLS Season Pass is available on the Apple TV app on iOS 16.2 or later, iPadOS 16.2 or later, Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD with tvOS 16.2 or later, macOS Ventura 13.1 or later, on eligible smart TVs and streaming devices, or at tv.apple.com.
