Amazon Hiring Over 300,000 for Holiday Season

Amazon, the leading Internet retailer, announced it is hiring over 300,000 people for seasonal, part-time, and full-time roles across its U.S. core operations network nationwide this holiday season.

Seasonal employees now earn an average of $20 an hour, and Amazon’s full-time core operations employees now earn a minimum starting wage of $20 an hour, while average hourly pay across our core operations workforce is nearly $24 an hour. When you include the value of company benefits, average total compensation exceeds $32 an hour.

Seasonal roles give people the opportunity to earn, work flexible schedules, and be part of the Amazon team during the busiest time of year. For some, it’s a job for the season. For others, it can lead to the start of a longer career at Amazon.
