Tiger Global Leads $75 Million Round in Carrot

Carrot, a company providing fertility benefits for employers, has closed on a $75 million Series C fundraising round, led by Tiger Global Management. Other investors include OrbiMed, F-Prime, CRV, U.S. Venture Partners, and Silicon Valley Bank.

The San Francisco-based company was founded in 2016 and says it’s on track to serve 450 customers and nearly 1 million covered lives this year — nearly quintupling growth in the last 18 months.

Carrot says it’s serving employers in 55 countries and looking to expand into more countries.

Carrot offers a vetted clinic and agency network along with a complete telehealth and care navigation platform. The company looks to help people on their journeys through fertility, pregnancy, adoption, gestational carrier services, and more.
