Prices Go Up for Apple TV+ and Apple Music

<p>On the same day Apple released updates to Mac OS and iPad OS&comma; the company quietly increased pricing for the Apple TV&plus;  video service and the Apple Music service&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Apple TV&plus; is going up from &dollar;4&period;99 per month to &dollar;6&period;99 starting now&period; The streaming service has been priced very low compared to Netflix and Disney&plus; yet has some major award winners in its catalog&period; The comedy Ted Lasso has won the Emmy Award for Best Comedy the past two years and the movie CODA won the Academy Award this year for Best Picture&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Apple Music is getting a &dollar;1 price increase from &dollar;9&period;99 to &dollar;10&period;99 per month&period; Apple Music recently announced it surpassed 100 million songs this month&comma; more than any other music service&period; Apple Music is also sponsoring the Super Bowl halftime show starting next year which is likely costing the company tens of millions of dollars&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Apple One package which includes Apple TV&plus;&comma; Apple Arcade&comma; Apple Music and extra storage space is also increasing in price&period; The individual package is increasing from &dollar;14&period;95 per month to &dollar;16&period;95 per month&period; The family package&comma; which allows sharing of five accounts&comma; is now &dollar;22&period;95 per month&comma; up from &dollar;19&period;95&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The premier Apple One package which also includes Apple News&plus;&comma; Apple Fitness&plus; and 2TB of storage space is now &dollar;32&period;95 per month&comma; up from &dollar;29&period;95&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
