Police Investigtating Jewelry Theft From Elderly Man

<p>Palo Alto police are investigating a jewelry theft case on a residential street that occurred on Monday&comma; October 13&comma; 2025&period;  Two suspects conspired to remove jewelry from an elderly female victim&period;  The victim was not physically injured&comma; and the suspects are unknown and at large&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>On Thursday&comma; October 23&comma; 2025&comma; at about 2&colon;05 p&period;m&period;&comma; the victim came to the Palo Alto Police station to report a jewelry theft that occurred on the 3500 block of Bryant Street in the morning of October 13&comma; 2025&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The investigation revealed that the victim&comma; a woman in her eighties&comma; was walking in the 3500 block of Bryant Street when a red-colored vehicle&comma; driven by a man with a woman passenger&comma; drove past her and parked along the curb of Bryant Street&period;  The woman approached the victim and placed several items of costume jewelry in the victim’s hand&period;  The woman then tried to place a necklace around the victim’s neck&period;  The victim pushed the woman away&comma; and the woman returned to the vehicle&period;  The suspects then drove off northbound on Bryant Street&period;  The victim did not report seeing any weapon&period;  The victim noticed that her necklace was missing after the suspects drove off&period;  The victim notified police of the incident on October 23&comma; 2025&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The victim described the suspects as being Middle Eastern and in their thirties&period;  The female suspect spoke a language that the victim did not recognize&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Detectives are investigating this case to see if there is any connection to previous similar incidents or with any other similar crimes in other cities&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
