Property managers using Streamline, Escapia or V12.net software to manage their vacation rental business can now easily add Whimstay as a channel partner to help sell expiring inventory.
WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#airbnb--Whimstay, the leading marketplace dedicated to last minute vacation rental deals, today announced the completion of integrations with Streamline VRS and HomeAway Software’s Escapia and V12.net vacation rental property management systems. These three integrations allow vacation rental property managers to easily add Whimstay as a sales channel to increase bookings, occupancy rates and revenues from previously unsold inventory that is about to expire in the next 10 nights.
Once Whimstay is activated and setup as a distribution channel, Whimstay receives property information, availability and pricing directly from the underlying property management system, and Whimstay bookings are routed back through the same system to the property manager.
“We’ve spent a lot of time and resources on systems integration to make this as easy as possible for busy property managers. It only takes about 30 minutes of their time to set this up, then they don’t need to do anything further,” said Alex Alioto, co-founder and VP of Sales of Whimstay. “Last-minute bookings from Whimstay represent ‘found money’ that flows right to the bottom line.”
Whimstay today also announced that over 50 property managers are now live with Whimstay, with another 100 property managers already signed up to add Whimstay as a channel in the next few weeks. These property managers manage anywhere from dozens to thousands of properties each.
“Whimstay is a welcome avenue to sell remaining inventory on short notice. Their integration with Streamline is seamless, giving me easy access to Whimstay’s following of travelers who book last-minute,” said Andy Morris, founder and general manager at Seattle Vacation Home.
“This industry has needed a last-minute sales channel for years, and now we have it,” said Dana Moraru, CEO of Tahoe Signature Properties.
“Whimstay works with professional property managers to scale the supply side of our marketplace faster, and because they are experienced in providing safe and secure stays for travelers, which is a top priority for Whimstay,” said Alioto.
Whimstay continues to integrate with additional property management systems and will announce those integrations as they are completed.
