Dental Products Report® to Serve as Lead Media Partner of Cellerant Best of Class Technology Awards

The winners will be announced through a live-streamed broadcast and subsequently featured on the Dental Products Report® website and September print issue.

CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#AwardsProgram--Dental Products Report® (DPR), a multimedia platform of articles and technique guides on the latest advances in equipment, materials, supplies and services in the dental industry, will serve as the lead media partner for the Cellerant Best of Class Technology Awards. The winners will be announced through a livestream broadcast on Sept. 1, at 8 p.m ET.

Selected by a panel of prominent technology leaders in dentistry, the Cellerant Best of Class Technology Awards are among the most prestigious and desired awards that a dental manufacturer can receive. Since 2009, the program has recognized innovative products that set a standard of quality for dental professionals.

“As an award program that honors groundbreaking products, the Cellerant Best of Class Technology Awards align seamlessly with DPR®s mission of helping the dental industry make informed choices among the many products and services on the market,” said Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president and CEO of MJH Life Sciences™, parent company of DPR®. “We are honored to have the opportunity to serve as the lead media partner and announce the winners of this year’s program.”

While the awards have typically been announced in the summer and celebrated with a live event during the American Dental Association Annual Meeting in the fall, the COVID-19 pandemic altered the program’s traditional trajectory. Collectively, Cellerant and DPR® delayed the timing of the awards announcement to create a designated virtual event to announce the winners of the 2020 program.

The virtual event will feature the expert panel that selected the award winners and discuss the evaluation process of new dental technologies for consideration of a Best of Class recipient. After the panel discussion, DPR® will announce the winners and invite representatives from the winning companies to say a few words.

“The Cellerant Awards selection panel brings together an unequaled team of some of the brightest and most dedicated dental technology experts who deliberate and debate the merits of industry innovations in an open and unbiased manner while selecting the winning products,” said Noah Levine, editorial director of DPR®. “It’s an honor to collaborate with them, and an opportunity that inspired DPR® to find new and exciting ways to showcase the innovations poised to improve the clinical care and business operations of dental practices across the U.S. and around the globe.”

Subsequent to the virtual event, DPR® will feature a special section of multimedia content about each of the winners on its website and a special section in the September print issue.
