Veteran health care technology executive and Harvard Medical School faculty physician brings deep background in leveraging virtual care for chronic disease management

Dixon’s appointment is the latest executive addition by Remedy, a doctor-founded health care company with tech-grounded services for virtual visits, clinics, in-home care, employers and private medical practices.

Earlier this month, veteran health care executive Tabatha Erck joined Remedy as chief operating officer to drive the expansion of Remedy’s footprint into major markets across the country.

Before joining Remedy, Dixon served as president and CEO of Onduo Professionals PC and head of clinical affairs of Onduo LLC, a joint venture between Verily (Google) and Sanofi, leading all research and clinical practice functions and certification processes for Onduo’s telemedicine practices. Dixon also founded Healthcare 360 Inc., a logistics-driven virtual care platform for chronic-disease management.
Previously, he was on faculty at Harvard Medical School as an assistant professor of medicine and served as medical director for the Center for the Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology (CIMIT) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, where he also founded the hospital’s telemedicine program, MGH virtual visits.
Dixon received his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, a master’s degree in neuropsychology from SUNY Buffalo and a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from McGill University. He is licensed to practice medicine in all 50 states.
He has published articles in publications such as Harvard Business Review and in peer-reviewed medical journals including Health Affairs, Journal of the American Medical Association, Telemedicine and e-Health and the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare.
