Kaspersky Wins 2020 Public Relations and Marketing Excellence Award for the Global Transparency Initiative

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kaspersky today announces it has been recognized by the Business Intelligence Group for winning a 2020 Public Relations and Marketing Excellence Awards. The company earned “External Campaign of the Year” for promoting its Global Transparency Initiative (GTI).

Established in 2017, Kaspersky’s GTI engages the IT security community in validating and verifying the trustworthiness of its products, internal processes and business operations. Kaspersky’s GTI works toward creating a new standard in transparency for the cybersecurity industry. It puts into effect a set of clear verification and risk-minimization measures to increase users’ confidence and ensure that its cybersecurity solutions meet and exceed corporate data security and protection standards. With constant developments since its inception, the GTI has helped to establish a new standard in transparency for the cybersecurity industry.

Along with key media outreach, Kaspersky has held media events to support each new Transparency Center. These are dedicated security facilities for greater confidence in and knowledge of cybersecurity products through Kaspersky’s specifically developed ‘three-layer’ approach to security briefings, and external reviews of the company’s source code, software updates and threat detection rules.
