Australian tertiary education institution becomes first Ellucian CRM Advance customer to go live in Asia Pacific
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ellucian, the leading provider of software and services built to power higher education, today announced that Holmesglen Institute, a leading tertiary education institution in Melbourne, Australia, has added Ellucian CRM Advance to its suite of Ellucian solutions. Now in steady state, CRM Advance supports Holmesglen’s new alumni and philanthropy programs with the goal of empowering transformative education and engagement opportunities.
Holmesglen is part of Australia’s public technical and further education (TAFE) sector, and provides training and skills for a variety of career pathways, including in hospitality, building and construction, healthcare, childcare, and business and accounting. To achieve its strategic growth efforts, Holmesglen sought to implement new methods and innovative technology as a means of connecting with its alumni base, and developing philanthropic support to offer broader access to life-changing educational programs.
“Starting an alumni and philanthropic engagement program is an unconventional move for a TAFE institution, but we expect that down the line it will bring tremendous benefit to Holmesglen and our constituents,” said Holmesglen Foundation Director of Advancement Vincent Ramos. “Following a smooth launch in September, one of the benefits we saw immediately was a more robust way to track gifts, our supporters and financial information. The scholarships we’re establishing with our donors enable students to break through financial barriers, opening pathways to qualifications and apprenticeships for those who might otherwise not be able to afford to study at Holmesglen. We look forward to using CRM Advance to enable the Holmesglen Foundation to operate more efficiently and to establish meaningful connections with donors and our alumni going back to 1982.”
CRM Advance is equipped with advanced functionalities that meet Holmesglen’s specific mission. Now, Holmesglen can eliminate the risks arising from manual workarounds. Each time a class of students graduates data will flow directly from Ellucian Banner, the institution’s student information system, to CRM Advance, enabling more automated workflows and intuitive engagement. Thanks to the powerful reporting and analytics capabilities of CRM Advance, Holmesglen’s communication efforts, alumni events, and donor engagement activities will be tracked and recorded to inform data-driven decisions in the future.
“Holmesglen’s new alumni engagement and scholarship initiative is an inspiring demonstration of the power of advancement and its application in tertiary education,” said Ellucian Senior Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA and APAC Darren Hunt. “This is our first implementation of CRM Advance in the Asia Pacific region and with the full support of the Holmesglen’s administration and our dedicated team, it was completed quickly and efficiently allowing Holmesglen to realize immediate value. We are incredibly excited to be part of this unique mission to create new opportunities that will have a significant, lasting impact for Holmesglen students and alumni.”
