AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GTY Technology (NASDAQ: GTYH) (“GTY”), a leading provider of SaaS/Cloud solutions for the public sector, announced today that its business unit, Bonfire Interactive Ltd. (“Bonfire”) has experienced rapid success through its Texas DIR contract (DIR-TSO-4363), established in June 2019. Bonfire is a leading provider of sourcing and procurement software for the public sector.
“In just three months, Bonfire has welcomed four new clients through our Texas DIR contract,” said Stephen Rohleder, President, CEO and Chairman of GTY. “August was Bonfire’s highest yielding sales month in history. The rapid expansion of our Texas client base is recognition and validation of our unique software solution and the tangible results it provides for procurement teams.”
With public agencies in Texas and 42 other states able to procure Bonfire’s solutions from the DIR Cooperative Contract, the four organizations that have purchased Bonfire through the DIR include the City of Albuquerque, the City of Southlake, the Employee Retirement System of Texas (ERS), and the Department of Public Safety (DPS). These organizations join Bonfire’s growing list of 300+ clients, (30 of which are based in Texas).
“Exposure and trust within Texas’ procurement market are elements that have been garnered from our contract with the Texas DIR,” said Corry Flatt, CEO of Bonfire. “Additionally, through the contract, more deals are happening at a faster rate and we’ve attracted notable state-level procurement agencies, which has opened the door to other state opportunities.”
