<p><strong>SAN RAMON</strong> &#8212; Complete Solaria, a solar technology, services, and installation company, has received a $10 million strategic investment from Foris Ventures, LLC, an entity affiliated with John Doerr, Chairman of venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins.</p>
<p>The commitment is part of a previously announced $30 million bridge round, in support of Complete Solaria’s previously announced business combination with Freedom Acquisition I Corp.(NYSE: FACT), and is being made in the form of a firm commitment to purchase $10 million of convertible notes.</p>
<p>“We are thrilled to gain the support of such a well-respected business leader and investor,” said Will Anderson, CEO of Complete Solaria.</p>
<p>Doerr currently serves on the board of directors of Alphabet, Coursera, and DoorDash.</p>
<p>The $10 million strategic investment from Foris Ventures is in addition to previously announced progress on the bridge funding, which included a $14.2 million from T.J. Rodgers, $3.5 million from Freedom’s sponsors and $2 million from other investors.</p>
