MTV U.K. has joined forces with eBay to revive Pimp My Ride — a fan-favorite automotive makeover show from the 2000s — for a six-part YouTube series, hosted by British rapper Lady Leshurr.

Each 15-minute episode sees Leshurr alongside British autoshop Wrench Studios as they transform everything from a restored 1966 Volkswagen Beetle to a Fast and Furious-inspired 1992 Mitsubishi GTO using supplies sourced in part from eBay’s car parts and accessories division. The series will feature classic restorations as well as extreme modifications, focusing on a new driver every episode.

“With a car part sold every second on the marketplace, eBay helps millions of motorists improve their vehicles every year,” said Tony Tong, head of automotive at eBay U.K. “That’s why we’re delighted to be partnering with MTV on Pimp My Ride, inspiring a new generation of DIY motor enthusiasts to experiment with cost-effective, ‘greener’ car parts.”

eBay’s collaboration with Pimp My Ride highlights how economical and environmentally friendly it can be to upcycle and buy pre-loved car parts and accessories on eBay. After all, eBay is the marketplace of choice not only for trade professionals and car enthusiasts looking for regular and rare parts, but also for an ever-growing number of amateur DIYers looking to pimp their own rides.

The first episode of Pimp My Ride is now available to stream exclusively on MTV U.K.’s YouTube channel.
